End of Abyss Price: $29.99 on Every Platform

End of Abyss costs $29.99 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, and it is the same one-time charge on all three storefronts: PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store and the Epic Games Store. There is no DLC, no season pass and no in-game shop, so $29.99 is the whole price of the game. You can also play before paying: Epic hosts a standalone demo, Xbox offers a Free Trial, and PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers get a one-hour full-game trial.

  • One price, three stores: $29.99 US on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Epic, checked October 10, 2026
  • One-time purchase: no microtransactions, and no DLC or season pass listed on any storefront
  • Free ways in: Epic demo, Xbox Free Trial, and a 1-hour trial for PS Plus Premium
  • One store-only bonus: buying on Epic grants the Cel Outfit in Fortnite at no extra cost

Every End of Abyss price on one table

Platform Storefront Price Extra costs Free way to try first
PS5 PlayStation Store $29.99 None 1-hour full game trial with PlayStation Plus Premium
Xbox Series X|S Microsoft Store $29.99 None Free Trial
PC (Windows) Epic Games Store $29.99 None Standalone demo on Epic

Three footnotes to that table. These are US storefront figures; every store charges the same list price, so no platform is cheaper than another at $29.99. The game released October 1, 2026 on all three platforms, though some store metadata still shows 09/30/2026 — that is a timestamp quirk, not a second release date. And the PC install is 5.29 GB on an SSD, so disk space is not part of the buying decision.

Official source: End of Abyss on the PlayStation Store — $29.99, release date 10/1/2026, published by Epic Games Inc., with a 1-hour full game trial for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers. The Microsoft Store listing and the Epic Games Store page both show the same $29.99.

One discount exists, and it is regional

Not every buyer pays exactly $29.99. Regional PlayStation Store pages have displayed a "Save 10% with PlayStation Plus" offer that drops the game to $26.99 for PS Plus members, while the US product page we loaded on October 10, 2026 shows a flat $29.99 with no member discount attached. The regional offer carries its own end date that we could not read in full, so treat it as region-limited and time-limited rather than a permanent price cut, and check your own store page before assuming it applies to you.

That is the only reduction we found nine days after launch. No publisher sale, bundle or permanent price change has been announced on any of the three storefronts.

What the $29.99 actually buys

A complete single-player game with no money sinks behind it:

  • The full campaign, nothing metered. Roughly 10 to 13 hours for the story and 15 to 20 hours to clear the Logbook, every Vault and every weapon — the how long to beat breakdown attributes each figure to the person who logged it.
  • A one-time purchase. PCGamingWiki records the monetization model as a one-time game purchase, and none of the three storefront pages lists a single add-on, cosmetic or currency pack as of October 10, 2026. Section 9 has published no DLC roadmap, so this describes today's listings, not a promise about the future.
  • Single-player only. No co-op, no multiplayer, no second player of any kind — the PC on Epic guide collects the evidence from all four sources that say so.
  • Trophies and achievements on each platform, ranked by real unlock rates in the trophies guide.

What it does not buy: access through a subscription. The only subscription benefit attached to the game is the PS Plus Premium one-hour trial — it is not listed as a Game Pass title or as a PS Plus Extra/Premium catalog game, and no storefront page suggests otherwise.

"No DLC" means none listed today

This page checked all three storefronts on October 10, 2026, nine days after launch, and found no add-ons of any kind. The developer has not published a content roadmap either way, so if you are deciding whether a season pass will follow, the honest answer is that none has been announced — not that none will ever exist.

Buying on Epic adds the Fortnite Cel outfit

The one concrete reason to pick a storefront: buying any edition of End of Abyss on the Epic Games Store grants you the Cel Outfit in Fortnite as a gift-with-purchase. Epic's own help page describes it as a one-time grant triggered by purchasing any edition of the game, and Epic Games announced the bonus as going live October 1, 2026 at 8pm ET.

Official source: How do I get the Cel Outfit in Fortnite from End of Abyss? (Epic Games Help) — purchasing any edition of End of Abyss on the Epic Games Store grants a one-time grant of the Cel Outfit in Fortnite.

Two details worth knowing. The bonus does not raise the price: Epic charges the same $29.99 as the consoles, so the outfit is extra, not an upsell. And the Epic purchase also earns 5% back in Epic Rewards, which neither console store offers on this purchase. PS5 and Xbox buyers get no equivalent bonus — at identical prices, Epic is the version with something attached to it.

Play it for free before you pay

Three legitimate ways to sample the game, one per platform:

Trial Platform What you get
Standalone demo PC (Epic) A separate free demo build on the Epic Games Store
Free Trial Xbox Series X|S Trial listed on the Xbox store page
Full game trial PS5 1 hour of the full game, requires PlayStation Plus Premium

The demo is also the only honest performance benchmark for PC — nobody has published frame-rate tests for this build, so your own machine is the test. The beginner guide maps out a sensible first hour so the trial does not go to restarts, and if something breaks before you buy, the stuck and cannot progress guide separates a bug from your own route.

Spend the free hour on feel, not story

The launch reviews split 6 to 90 over combat and navigation rather than quality, so your own hands on the controller decide more than any score. If the scanner loop and the isometric combat click in the trial, $29.99 buys you a game you already know you like.

Is $29.99 worth it?

Dividing the price by the published playtimes gives roughly $3.00 an hour at 10 hours, $2.31 at 13 and $1.50 at 20 — indie pricing for a short, self-contained horror game rather than a 40-hour backlog. That arithmetic uses published estimates, not an official length: Section 9 has never released a completion figure.

The reception is genuinely split. Metacritic showed PS5 at 77 across 13 outlets and PC at 66 across 5 as of October 3, 2026, with individual reviews running from 6/10 to 90/100 — the review roundup breaks down who scored what and why. Player sentiment runs warmer: the PlayStation Store held a 4.28 average from about 1,400 ratings when we checked on October 10, 2026. For what the game actually is — a top-down, scanner-driven descent through a clay-doll facility — read what End of Abyss actually is before deciding.

Will it go on sale?

End of Abyss launched October 1, 2026 at $29.99, and as of October 10, 2026 no sale, bundle or price cut has been announced on PS5, Xbox or Epic. Games this recent rarely discount within the first month, and the only verified reduction so far is the regional PS Plus member price described above. If $29.99 is a stretch, the free trials are the practical answer today; a hypothetical future sale is not.

FAQ

How much does End of Abyss cost? $29.99 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and the Epic Games Store — the same one-time price on all three platforms (US storefronts, October 10, 2026).

Is End of Abyss free to play? No. The full game costs $29.99, but you can try it free: a standalone demo on Epic, a Free Trial on Xbox, and a one-hour full-game trial for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers on PS5.

Does End of Abyss have DLC or microtransactions? No add-ons, season pass or in-game shop are listed on any storefront as of October 10, 2026, and PCGamingWiki records the game as a one-time purchase with no microtransactions. No DLC roadmap has been announced either.

Is End of Abyss on Steam or in Game Pass? It is not on Steam — PC is Epic Games Store only. It is also not listed in Game Pass or any PS Plus catalog; the subscription connection stops at the one-hour PS Plus Premium trial.

Which version should I buy? All three cost the same, so buy where you play. The Epic copy adds the Cel Outfit in Fortnite plus 5% back in Epic Rewards; console copies include no bonus content.

Can I get it cheaper than $29.99? The only verified reduction is a regional PS Plus member discount of 10% ($26.99) seen on some PlayStation Store pages, which the US page did not show. Otherwise, wait for a sale you cannot currently predict — or use the free trials first.
