End of Abyss Codes: Cheat Codes and Gift Codes

There are no promo codes for End of Abyss. The only codes are four in-game cheat codes you scan yourself, and activating one disables trophies.

End of Abyss Codes: Cheat Codes and Gift Codes

There are no promo codes, gift codes or unlock codes to type into End of Abyss. The only End of Abyss codes are six cheat codes printed on walls, lockers and panels inside the facility: you scan each one with the Scanner, it lands in the Logbook Codes tab, and flipping any switch there permanently disables trophies and achievements on that save file. Scan all six for Cryptographer, activate none until the platinum is yours.

  • No code-redemption field exists anywhere in the game, and no promo code has ever been published for it.
  • The one official gift tied to the game is the Cel Outfit in Fortnite, granted automatically with an Epic Games Store purchase, no string to enter.
  • Six cheat codes are documented so far. Activation is one-way and costs every achievement you have not unlocked yet.

No promo codes, no gift codes

Two different things get called "codes" for this game, and only one of them exists. A promo or gift code is a string you redeem for free currency or items; End of Abyss has never had one. Neither Section 9 Interactive nor Epic Games has published a code for the game, and the full-length community guides documenting its menus, its Logbook and its collectible counts do not show any screen where an external code could be typed in.

The one gift that does exist is not a code at all: buying End of Abyss on the Epic Games Store grants the Cel Outfit in Fortnite automatically, "from October 1, 2026 8pm ET". If you already owned that outfit, Epic grants a one-time 1,500 V-Bucks instead, and refunding the game takes the outfit back with it. It is claimed for you on purchase, tied to your Epic account, and shows in the Fortnite locker on any platform connected to it.

So the codes worth reading about are the cheat codes, and they work in the opposite way from what a promo code would suggest: you do not enter them, you find them.

The six cheat codes and where to find them

Code Location What you need What it does
Armor Containment Sector, B1 Explosive Charge You take minimal damage when hit
Infinite Ammo Communication Center, F3 Explosive Charge Infinite ammo for all Equipment
Infinite Health Boosters Infirmary, B1 Grappling Hook, Incinerator, Infirmary and Restricted Access keycards Infinite Health Boosters
Infinite Equipment Outer Sector, B2 Explosive Charge, Grappling Hook Published with the same wording as Infinite Ammo: infinite ammo for all Equipment
Big Head Factory West, F4 Explosive Charge, Grappling Hook, Executive Level Access keycard Every character's head gets big
Big Knife Habitation Sector, B1 Explosive Charge, Security Guard and Security Chief keycards Your knife gets big

Each one hides behind the same kind of detour as the rest of the facility. The Infinite Ammo code is printed inside a locker door on F3 of the Communication Center, behind a weak wall you blow open on the west side. The Health Boosters code sits behind a Sealed Hatch in the mortuary drawers on Infirmary B1, which the Grappling Hook pops. The Big Head code only renders after you hit the electrical panels on the north wall of the first room of Factory West F4 with a melee attack. None of the six appear at all unless the Scanner is up.

The count moved during launch week. The launch pass recorded in the Logbook collectibles guide, checked October 3, 2026, listed four codes found with the total unconfirmed. Game Rant's complete location guide and the community video walkthroughs now document six, and they agree on the same list above. If a seventh shows up later, Cryptographer wants that one too.

Activating a code takes the Cryptograph

Scanning is the easy half. Codes "can only be seen while using the scanner", and every code you scan registers in the Logbook's Codes tab with a switch beside it. That switch does nothing until you hold the Cryptograph, a key item in the Lower Levels that also upgrades the Scanner - the upgrade behind the Second Sight achievement.

Reaching it is a late-game errand. Condensed from Game Rant's nine-step route: release the protocols at the mainframe's request, ride the elevator in the southeast corner of B3 up to F1, take the east elevator to B2 for the Level I Access card, then burn the Parasitic Growth east of the F1 southeast elevator with the Incinerator and crawl the vent to the body carrying the Level II card. The Level III card is up the stairs off that F2 hallway, and the Cryptograph itself sits on a desk behind the Level III door in the northeast corner of Lower Levels F1. The surrounding route sits inside the full walkthrough, and how the scan itself behaves is in the Scanner guide.

Note what the Cryptograph is not required for: collecting. The 100% Guides Logbook walkthrough is explicit that codes are visible to the scanner and that the Cryptograph is what lets you activate them through the Logbook. Scan every code you pass on the way, pick the Cryptograph up whenever the route hands it to you, and still leave the switches alone.

Scan every code, activate none until the platinum

The Codes tab switches are one-way. Both full guides say activating a cheat disables trophies and achievements on that save file, and neither describes any way to switch them back off. Leave every Logbook switch alone until every achievement you want is already yours.

What activation actually costs

Game Rant states it flatly: activating codes "permanently disables achievements on the current save". The 100% Guides walkthrough puts it in capitals: "THIS WILL DISABLE TROPHIES ON THAT SAVE!" Nothing in either guide describes a reversal, a penalty you can undo, or a setting that turns achievement tracking back on.

That splits the Logbook Codes tab into two safe and unsafe halves. Scanning is safe and required: Cryptographer is "Scan all Codes", and Codes is one of the four Completionist categories, so both achievements demand that you touch all six. Activation is the only genuinely destructive act in a game whose trophy list is otherwise fully cleanable in one playthrough. The practical order writes itself: finish every achievement you care about first, then flip whatever switches you like for fun.

Are the cheats worth it?

Once the achievements are banked, the four equipment cheats remove the resource pressure that defines most of the run - ammo, Health Boosters, whatever Equipment draws on - and the two cosmetic ones exist purely for screenshots. Nothing published describes them breaking scripts, blocking doors or softlocking collectibles, and no guide lists any drawback beyond the achievement rule above. Big Knife in particular pairs with the keycard route past the Habitation vault, since the Security Guard door sits right beside it.

PC players searching for trainers will find third-party tools aimed at the Epic build as well; nothing official covers those, and they carry the same open question about achievements. The six scanned codes are the only cheats with a documented in-game rule set.

FAQ

Are there any promo codes or gift codes for End of Abyss? No. No promo code has been published for the game by Section 9 Interactive or Epic, and there is no screen in the game where one could be entered. The only gift is the Cel Outfit in Fortnite, auto-granted with an Epic Games Store purchase.

How do you activate cheat codes in End of Abyss? Scan the code with the Scanner so it registers in the Logbook, open the Codes tab, and flip its switch. The switch only works once you carry the Cryptograph from the Lower Levels.

Do cheat codes disable trophies in End of Abyss? Yes. Activating any code permanently disables trophies and achievements on that save file. Scanning a code does not - scanning is required for Cryptographer.

How many cheat codes are in End of Abyss? Six are documented: Armor, Infinite Ammo, Infinite Health Boosters, Infinite Equipment, Big Head and Big Knife. Launch-week trackers listed four with the total unconfirmed; the complete guides now agree on six.

Can I use the cheats without losing achievements? Not on the same save at the same time. No source describes a way to re-enable achievements after activation, so unlock everything first and activate codes afterwards, when nothing is left to lose.
